How To Prepare
Once you’ve scheduled your house wash service here’s what you can do to get ready...
- 1. Make sure all windows are closed
- 2. Turn off all exterior lights
- 3. Move or cover anything you don’t want getting wet inside or at-least 20 feet from the house. When cleaning a deck it can be messy. Anything you don’t wanting to get dirty should be moved as far away from the deck as possible.
- 4. Bring all animals and their food and water bowls inside.
- 5. Make sure we have at-least two car lengths available for our truck and trailer. (We usually will park in front of the house unless the driveway is long).
- - if you are having multiple services being done make sure to check the “How To Prepare” section on those as well.
FAQ
- 1. How often should I have my deck or fence cleaned?
- - This can vary depending on how much shade or traffic it gets.
- 2. Do you guys stain decks and fences.
- - Yes, we do!
- 3. Why should I have my deck or fence cleaned?
- - We always recommend staining and not just for aesthetic purposes. Not only does it look amazing but staining your deck or fence can protect the wood and greatly extend the life of it. It’s like adding a protective barrier between the wood and the elements saving you money in the long run.
- 4. Is the cleaning process different if we are staining?
- - Yes. We do a much stronger clean if we know we are going to stain afterwards. We want to rid the deck or fence of all contaminants, remove and loose stain that may be there from years past, and expose any weak or deteriorated areas.
